Beartha was created for a friend in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has all the family traits—big feet and tummy.
AuROARa is made from two colors of curly distressed mohair. Her muzzle is shaved and her paw pads are made from Ultrasuede. She wears Ultrasuede leaves and bits of yarn around her neck. She lives in Georgia.
Clawde likes to think he’s scary but he’s an old softie at heart. He’s made from 100% Schulte curly distressed mohair and has Ultrasuede paw pads. His nose is waxed and his eyes have needlefelted accents. He makes his home in Austin, Texas.
Goldie’s first job was to go to school in Atlanta, Georgia, and teach children about wildlife. Now she is the class mascot.

Grrrover just begs to be cuddled. He is made from German plush mohair that looks and feels like mink. He lives in Athens, Georgia.

Strawbearry was made as an exclusive for the Lyndon House Arts Center gift shop in Athens, Georgia. She is about 4” high and is made from 100% Schulte mohair. Her paw pads are made from Ultrasuede®; she is stuffed with polyester Fiberfil; and is 5-way jointed. Her strawberry costume is made from a suede-like fabric. Gardener was created for an auction to raise money for Keep Athens Clarke County Beautiful. He is made entirely from recycled materials. I used a cashmere coat for his body and thrift store finds to make his clothes. He wears antique baby shoes
Lance B Armstrong was created for my son who is a big fan of biking. Lance stands about 16” tall and is made from German plush. I crafted the tennis shoes from black denim and Ultrasuede. I used logos for his shirt and hat to get him ready for competition. Featured in the September/October 2007 “Teddy Bear and Friends” magazine.
Pawtrick started life as a four-legged, double-neck bear on all fours. His hair was a black tipped beige. But, something didn’t feel right to me and one day I took him completely apart, trimmed his hair, and made what turned out to be one of my favorite bears. He is happily adopted and living in New Mexico.
TreBEAR was created for my nephew who graduated from high school a few years ago. He excels in sports so I downloaded the high school’s logo to put on the shirt and made this basketball uniform. The shoes are purchased. TreBEAR is holding down the fort in Wisconsin while my nephew excels at his academics in college.
