Ellie is the first elephant I made for my niece. Ellie is made from sparse gray mohair and has Ultrasuede paw pads and inner ears.
Ella Bella was created for my niece who loves to sing and dance. I did an elephant as a play on her name and I made her a ballerina for a little humor. What’s cuter than a dancing elephant? Ella Bella is made from sparse pink mohair; her ballet shoes and paw pads are made from Ultrasuede.
Doink was created because my brother had a stuffed donkey when he was growing up. He loved it so much that it had to be fixed a few times. I created Doink to remember that love. He is made from sparse gray mohair; his mane and hooves are made from long black mohair; and the bottom of his hooves are Ultrasuede. His muzzle is a shaved cream colored mohair. Doink is now living in Texas.
Fowlkner’s name is a play on writer William Faulkner. I gave him to a friend who was opening a writer’s retreat in Georgia. This wise old owl is made from imported German plush: his beak, eyes, eyebrows, and talons are needlefelted with wool roving.

Haylo was created as a Christmas gift for a friend to give to a little girl. She is made from 100% sparse Schulte mohair. Her muzzle is needlefelted with wool roving; her hooves are made from leather; and her mane and tail are made from a curly yarn. She lives in Winterville, Georgia
Furdinand is made from light gold mohair with brown tips. His tummy is the same mohair that has been trimmed. He stands about 16” tall (not including ears). A collar and bow tie complete his look. He now lives in Austin, Texas.
Hareiette was made as an exclusive for the Lyndon House Arts Center gift shop in Athens, Georgia. She is about 5” high and is made from 100% Schulte mohair. Miz Cybil was a beloved cat of one of my friends. When she went to the giant catnip farm in the sky my friend asked me to create a cat that would keep her memory alive. This cat was made from imported German plush. The inside of her ears are made from Ultrasuede. She is now the office manager in Winterville, Georgia.
Gramm was created for a professor at a small university in Illinois. Their chemistry department celebrates National Mole Day on October 23. My first thought – why moles? After some research (a.k.a. Googling) I discovered that a mole is the quantity of a chemical substance. Go Gramm!
